2014/04/19 Thank you for staying!

They came from Taiwan.

They stayed in Tokyo for 2 nights and came to Shimoda for the 1st time.

After they checked out they went to Seven waterfalls in Kawazu town next to Shimoda by bus.

We are very sorry about the weather, but we hope you will come back to Japan again!

They came from Shanghai in China.

They arrived at Kansai International Airport and stayed in Kyoto for 3 nights.

After that, they came to Shimoda and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 1 night.

One of them has lived in Japan, so he speaks Japanese very well.

They are funny and good people!!

They are from France and live in Tokyo.

3 years ago they have stayed at Pension Sakuraya, and came this weekend for the 2nd time.

They went to Tatado beach for swimming, but how was the water? Did you get into the water?

When they checked out they said, "It was very good stay because the rooms are very nice and breakfast is delicious! We will be back again!"

During their stay in Shimoda they walked around in Shimoda and went to the top of Mt. Nesugata, and came back by walking from the montain.

They have lived in Yokohama since last August, and came to Shimoda for the 1st time.

On the 2nd day we had heavy rain and strong wind like a storm. (Actually they had a heavy snowfalls in Tokyo and Kanagawa on that day!)

On the 3rd day, we had the sun, so they went to Tsumekizaki and Irozaki cape.

We look forward to meeting you again under the sun.

Today we got a photo by e-mail from our customers who came from France and stayed at Sakuraya for 6 nights in last August.

They are very good family, and their baby was really cute and made us happy!

A family who have stayed with us during last Golden Week came to Sakuraya and stayed for the second time.

Their children are very cute!

2013/09/21 Breakfast and after that

All of our customers this morning are foreigners, besides all of them are German!!

If only I was able to speak German..... :)

 

 

 

 

 

After breakfast all of our customers went to the beach for swimming.

We have a little wind this morning, but it's very hot like summer!!

2013/08/28 Thank you for staying!

They came from Germany and stayed at Sakuraya for 5 nights.

It was a 4th time for us to meet them, and they stay for 5 or 6 nights every time.

Actually we have some customers who came again as a second time, but there is nobody came for the 4th time.

We really appreciate it very much.

 

By the way they gave us a wonderful present.

These are German wine and Austrian ice wine. Last year they sent us these wines after staying and we loved them very much.

We are really looking forward to drinking them after busy season.

2013/08/28 Scotch Whisky - - MACALLAN

Our customer who came from Tokyo gave me this present.

I'm not good at whisky, so I have never heard about it, but is it very famous and popular whisky?

I'll try this after the busy season!

They came from Brooklyn in New York and stayed for 3 nights.

It had been almost sunny and they went to the beach every day for swimming.

By the way, when they checked in they gave us presents.

 

 

These are MAST BROTHERS CHOCOLATE which are very popular in New York in these days.

It was a first time for me to see and eat the chocolate with "Chili Peppers"!!

Of course it's sweet, but it's not only spicy but also very hot!!

This family came from France and stayed for 6 nights.

They went to the nearest beach "Shirahama", Sotoura Beach and many places in Shimoda.

After check-out they went to Narita airport to leave Japan.

As they arrived in Shirahama in the late afternoon, they was able to swim for the only short time.

Before coming to Shimoda they went to Hiroshima to participate in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony.

I took this photo of them and the Japanese sword (Katana) which is aｎ umbrella acutually.

They bought it in Tokyo.

During their stay they went to the beach for swimming and went to Shimoda and Suzaki for walking.

It is a first time for them to travel in Japan.

They came to Shimoda after Tokyo and Ito city, and are going to Kyoto, Kanazawa and many places for a month.

We got a postcard from our customer who stayed at Sakuraya last month.

They came from France and stayed for 3 nights.

On the 2nd day they went to Shimoda aquarium for the dolphin touching.

In the 3rd night their daughter put a Japanese Kimono which they bought in Kyoto when they had dinner.

And when they checked out they gave us a present.

It was a very delicious sable which they brought from France!

Before coming to Shimoda they went to Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya and Mt. Fuji, and climbed to the top!!

During their stay in Shimoda it had been almost sunny, and of course they went to the beach for swimming for 3 days.

2013/07/05 The repeat customers from Taiwan!!!

Seven years ago, they came to Japan and stayed at Sakuraya for the 1st time.

They had already had their son, but they leaned him on their parents and came to Japan.

And this time they came to Shimoda again with their son!

We were very glad to meet the first repeat customers from Taiwan, and of course, we had a good time and a great communication with this beautiful family again.

2013/07/05 Presents from Oregon in the United States

Yesterday we got a postal package from our customers who live in Kamakura and stayed with us in last June.

When I opened it we found out some presents and message from their friends in Oregon.

During their stay I took their daughter to the doctor because of the middle ear infection.

How is she going?

They are a family who came from Sweden.

They have visited Japan 5 years ago and came to Japan for the 2nd time this summer.

Before coming to Shirahama they stayed in Ito city and went to Southern part of Izu peninsula after checked out.

Did you find out sand ski and cave in Toji? and how did you like it?

By the way, when they checked out they gave us "Swedish Premium Liquorice".

My family and I were worrying about its flavor and tried to eat it, but it was easy for us to eat.

This liquorice is a kind of special version, I guess.

They are beautiful family!!!

2013/07/01 A present from Switzerland

Today we got an envelope via airmail.

It was sent from our customers who came from Switzerland and stayed at Sakuraya for 8 nights in last April.

We found out some drawings which were given to my son from the children and a postcard of their hometown.

My son remembers the children because he played UNO with them many times, and of course he is excited very much to get these presents.

When I took these photos my son was just going to bed, so he looks a little sleepy.

But I'm sure that these presents made him very happy!!!

2013/06/25 Thank you for staying.

They are two families from the United States of America.

One of them have lived in Kamakura and have stayed at Sakuraya in last May, and the other family came from the United States and visited Shimoda for the 1st time.

A girl had been sick since several days ago and had a slight fever.

So I took her to a pediatric hospital in Shimoda with her family.

I was relieved that she got better after that.
