When I waked up in this early morning, I saw a red light on the window of my room.
Yes, the sun was just rising from the horizon.
I could see a beautiful sunrise after a long time from our terrace.
By the way when I went to the beach to take a picture, I found the black shadow in the wave.....

When I came back from Shimoda town, I took this picture.
Today we had a little cold wind, but it was really beautiful day in Shirahama.
We could see a blue sea, a blue sky and white clouds.
By the way I caught a cold at last from our children and have pains on my body.
So I go to bed from now today.

My son, Yuuki, could get a good condition this morning, but my daughters caught a cold instead of him.
They had high fever, had loose bowels, and vomited many times like my son last night.
I hope they will have good condition soon.
By the way I took this photo yesterday in Shirahama. It was really high and big wave.
So some surfers had been challenging toward these waves......
My son, Yuuki, haven't had a good condition yet and he cried many times today, so I took hime to drive to Kawadu town.
Sakura blossoms finish at the end of Sakura festival in this stage, May 10th, everyyear.
But Sakura blossom is late 1 or 2 weeks this year, so we can still see it now.

Tonight, my son, Yuuki, and me went to Minami Izu town to see Sakura of night.
To tell the truth, we went there last night too, because my son caught a cold, had a bad condition and was very nervous, so I took him to drive to make him better feeling.
When we got there we saw a beautiful view of Night Sakura. Then I wanted to take a photo.
But as I didn't bring my camera, I couldn't take a photo of Night Sakura.
So I tried to go Minami Izu to take it again tonight.....
It was rainny all day today in Shirahama.
We had not only rain but wind. Yes, it was really strong wind from North.
I was going to take a photo but I could not do it for a long time because of the strong wind and rain.
Before coming to the beach today I guessed that there was nobody there, but I found some people.
They were going to go into the big waves......
Do you know this flower ?
We, Japanese, call it "Himekingyosou". It is "Linaria" in English.
These flowers usually bloom from April to June, but we can see this flower in May in Shirahama every year, because it is very warm here.
By the way you can see our Sakuraya's building behind these flowers, can't you ?
As you know our building is still under construction in this stage .....
As usual, when I went to the school to pick my daughters up, we went to the beach for a while.
After we parked our car in a parking lot of Shirahama shrine, my children started to walk gladly to the beach.
My children played on the rocks and sand, but my son, Yuuki, was in a bad mood...
Today it was warm, the weather forcast on TV said that Today's temperature is the end of March and it will be warmer tomorrow.
When I went to the beach young people were there and they were feeling the strong wind holding their hands like this photo.
Yes, we had really strong wind today. When I was in the beach I couldn't open my eyes, because the strong wind flied sand.
By the way I found the spring on the way to my home from my daughte's school........
Today it was rainny here in Shirahama.
When Hikari came back to home from the school, Yuuki asked her one thing..
He said to his sister "Do ! do !".
It means Keyboard.
In these days he is very interested in playing keyboard after my daughters teached him how to play it.
By the way, yesterday I saw 2 men who were swimming in Shirahama.
Actually it was very warm yesterday but I could not believe it.
Today, when we came back from Shimoda town, I took this picture in Shirahama.
This small ship is for taking Ise Ebi (shrimp).
They set the net to take Ise Ebi in the afternoon, and take it off from the sea in early morning, at around 4 or 5 am.
We can eat Ise Ebi from October to May every year.
Have you ever eaten it ? It is very sweet and tasty.
By the way we went to Shimoda to see the classical ballet class of my daughters.....
Today it was a little windy but very warm too.
When I went to Shimoda I saw a lot of cars from other prefectures. Probably they came to Izu to see Kawazu Sakura festival.
My friend said to me " It took about 4 hours more from Kanagawa to Shimoda today, it's usually only 3 hours. After Atami we had sometimes traffic jam."
Tomorrow a lot of people will come to Izu more than today, because it will be sunny and we will be able to see full bloom of Sakura.
It was sunny for a short time yesterday, but today it was a beutiful all day n Shirahama beach.
The waves were in good condetion too today, so many serfers were challenging to the waves.
On the other hand, there were many travellers who probably came to Izu to see Sakura festivals.
When I went to the beach, there was a family. And two children were playing without clothes for the winter. It was really warm today.

As recentry my daughter, Akari is checking my weblig up everyday, she said so soon.
Today it was sunny in Shirahama after one week, I went to the beach when I went to pick my dauthers up to the school.
When I was taking pictures of the sea, my daughter, Hikari was playing on the sand like this. So I requested her one thing.....
3 days ago, when I was cooking our dinner, as my son was looking the salt I tried to give him for tasting it.
It was very cute his face, so I decided to take a photo of him with salt someday.
Today I gave hime the salt on a small dish, and after that he tasted it.......
Todya it was very cold, right ?
When I had a time in the afternoon I went to the beach to take a picture.
But the wind is really strong and cold. The wind made my hands holded my camera too cold.
In this situation it was good chance for windsurfers to get good wind and wave.
On the left side of the beach, from the area behind Shirahama shrine, he started windsurfing.

According to the local newspaper "Izu Shinbun", Kawazu town declared " Kawazu sakura trees are fully blooming !"
Every year Kawazu Sakura Festival has over one million people to visit this festival.
On last Saturday, February 25th, about 65 thousand people visited a day. It was a 1st record during this season.
By the way did you noticed that the color of Sakura in this photo is different from Kawazu Sakura ?......
"Please paint a roof this time."
We were going to do only it at the first stage.
But kind painter said, "If you would like to do it, of course we can do it. But you will have to paint again about 3 years later."
Sakuraya's building is 19 years old, so the roof is too old to paint. And he said also,
"As it necessary a lot of money to set the preparation to paint, you had better change all of the roof now at all."
Besides, as there are many points of leak of wall, we have to change all of walls this time.
That's why we decided to repair our bulding from last month, but ......
Today my daughter, Akari had a lesson of classical ballet in the morning, so Hikari, Yuuki and me went to the park near Shimoda harbor during her class.
As we had strong wind today, so we tried to play football but could not play it.
After that we decided to go to Spa for foot (Ashi Yu) in this park.....
When we went to Sakura festival we could find the horse wagon for the 1st time this year.
This horse wagon goes around the festival area, and the price would be 1,000 yen per adult and 700 yen per child.
Of course it was 1st time for my son to see the horse.
When I took hime to the horse my son.....
Do you know what these are ?
Today, as my wife had to go to the dentist, my son, Yuuki and me went to Shimoda together.
While my wife's dental treatment my son and me went to Kisami Ohama beach. I have ever seen this sea, but it was 1st time for me to go to the beach.
After walking in the beach we arrived at the end of this beach. And we found the stairs into the cave ......
After the dental treatment of my wife finished we went to Minami Izu to see Sakura and Rape blossoms.
It was 3rd time for me and 2nd time for my son, but 1st time for my wife to come to see these rape blossoms this year.
These flowers are bigger day after day, some of them were taller than my son at last....

Here is a question.
When did I take this picture in the morning or afternoon ?
The answer is "Morning".
The western side of Izu, "Nishi Izu" is very famous for its sunset.
But Shirahama beach is on the eastern side of Izu peninsula, so we can't take a picture of sunset on the sea.
When I wake up in the early morning I sometimes take its picture. Especially we can take picutures of the beautiful sunrise from the horizon in the winter.
Would you like to see it?
"Let's go, bu- bu-, Yuuki !"
He recently understands our situation when I say so.
"Bu- bu-" is Japanese baby word, means "Car".
So he heard this word, and started to walk toward the door soon.
Today my daughter called by telephone and said "Please come to the school to bring my baggages." Because she wanted to go her friend's home after school.
That's why I was going to the school with my son.
When we arrived at the school my son was surprised at very big area of school, and started to walk gladly...... .
Recently my son, Yuuki became to be able to eat with spoon or fork by himself.
Of course he usually use his hands to eat, and he can eat any foods we prepare.
Today, as he was hungry he ate a lot.
One of today's dinner was salad of tomato and cucumber with vinegar and soy souce.
He can eat Umeboshi (Japanese dried plum with salt), so he likes and eats sour food or vinegar. And he can express that he feels sour taste........
When I wento to the beach there were some people on the beachside and surfers in the sea.
Today it was sunny in the morning but after that cloudy all the afternoon.
I think that I want to see always the shinning sun and blue sea in Shimoda.
The weather forcast says that it would be cloudy and rainny tomorrow.
But after that we would be able to see warm and sunny day.
"Why don't we go to Sand Ski tomorrow ?"
When we went there last time on February 5th, my daughter said to me "I want to come here again with my friends."
So I went to Touji beach with my daughters and their friends today.
My son Yuuki was in a house because he has a little fever..... .
When I went to Minami Izu to see the Sakura festival I found the horsetail there for the 1st time this year.
We, Japanese fell that the spring has come when we see this horsetail.
Last year I could take a photo of it under the Sakura tree, but Sakura has not bloomed enough yet this year.
When I went to Shimokamo town in Minami Izu for my buissines I went to see Sakura blossom.
When I went there last time I could not find Sakura blossoms, but today I found some flowers.
It has been very warm in Izu in these days, so I think the flowers waked up.
After that I went to the field of rape.......
Today it was rainny all day.
My daughter said "It was very strong rainny this early morning.", but I didn't noticed it.
This is a tree of Loquat in out garden.
The flowers of this tree bloom in November and we can get the truth in June every year.
Have you ever eaten it ?
