Last week it had been almost cloudy, so we could not see a beautiful ocean and sky.
But it became sunny today in Shimoda.
When I went to Shimoda for shopping I could see gorgeous scenary and took this picture on the way to the Route 135.
Blue ocean, blue sky, white sand and island, this is a very good picture for the post card which I make....
Today it was very beautiful day in Shirahama.
I was taking a walk on the autum leaves around Pension Sakuraya this afternoon, and I found this tree which had been changed with sunshine.
The tree in front of small house is growing up to the sky with a lot of leaves and I could see a small path after this tree.
It is just only 100 meters from Sakuraya.
Would you like to find this gorgeous tree?
Today it was very warm and beautiful day in Shimoda!!
That's why our guests went to the beach to swim.

Today it was a little sunny early this morning but after that the weather was change, it was almost cloudy all day.
The color of the ocean is really different depending on the weather.
Today's Shirahama beach had gray ocean like this picture.
And we had very strong wind from the north.....
Every year we clean up all spaces in our building after summer, and we started to clean up the dining room today.
We have to move everything out of dining room to clean up, so it is very hard to do it.
I think it takes 2 or 3 days to finsh, but our guest will be able to have meals in beautiful dining room after that.

As our guest told me I went to the beach to take pictures with my son.
(My son was playing with sand while I was taking pictures.)
I didn't know that there were 2 typhoons in eastern area of Japan......
It was very beaufitul day today, so we went to Itado beach to spend good afternoon before going to shopping.
While I was playing for snorkeling my son, Yuuki was playing with my wife near the water.
But when I came back he took off all clothes because it was very hot today and my wife did it.
The water was still very warm here, so I could find many fishes in this area.....
This month it had been almost cloudy, sometimes rainy and a little sunny until today.
But we have gotten sunshine at last today after a long time.
A blue sea and blue sky gave us a beutiful day.
In addition it was very hot many people were in the water....
After picking my daughter up at the school we went to the beach today.
It was almost 5:00 pm but there were some people swimming in the water.
The weather forcast said yesterday, it would be cloudy.
But actually we got a sun and it was very hot here in Shirahama.
When we were going to come back home we could see a beautiful sunset....
When I finished my job for this morning I went to the beach with my son "Yuuki" to swim.
It was cloudy in the morning but it was changed, sunny in the afternoon.
I went to Shirahama shrine and leave my car at the parking lot, and got into the beach.
This place is behind Shirahama shrine and we can see "Torii" Red gate (?) on big rock.
Actually we can go to the another beach "Shirahama Chuou Beach" over that rock by walking....

This morning we, the local people of Shirahama area cleaned up the beadch from 6:00 am.
I was thinking there would be a lot of trashes on the beach, but actually there was no big trash after all.
Probably the typhoon brought them....

Today it was very hot but gorgious day.
So I went to the beach by walking to take pictures.
I took this one at the bus stop called "Shirahama Kaigan" on Route 135.

Yes, it is absolutely paradise!!.....
Today it was really beautiful day in Shimoda.
So I finished my job early at noon I went to take picutres by car.
I took this picture at "Ogasaki Wing" where you find at first at the entrance of Shimoda city if you come to Shimoda by car on Route 135.
We can see Izu seven island, Suzaki peninsula and Shirahama beach from this spot.....

In summer I check the weather forcast many times everyday.
Yesterday's weather forcast said, it will be sunny.
But actually I didn't trust it because the weather change day and day.
However, we got a sunshine today in Shirahama, Shimoda.

Today it was a last day of these 3 holidays.
It was cloudy all day today, but we could see many parasols on the beach.
The typhoon is still making the wave strong.
That's why there were a lot of surfers in Shirahama.
The typhoon #4 is coming to Japan now.
That't why we had strong and big waves here in Shirahama.
Yes, it was very good condition for surfing.
If the typhoon come to Shimoda directly it gives higher waves for surfers.

When I go to Shimoda I sometimes take pictures of the beach before shopping.
And my son has to wait for me until I finish to take pictures, but he is good guy because he doesn't cry.
I guess he understands his situation since he always has to wait while I take pictures.
Anyway I am showing the picture which I took today....
The weather forcast didn't tell a lie!!
It was cloudy in the moring but we got a sunshine in the afternoon.
I took this picture when I went to Shimoda for shopping.
In this season there are many people who swim here.
This morning I went to the beach very early.
Every 2 month we, local people go to the beach in early morning on 2nd Sunday to clean.
The cleanness takes place from 6:00 am, but the local people come to the beach at around 5:30 am.
I think they wake up very early every morning.
After cleaning I moved to the end of Shirahama beach to take pictures of sunrise...

Today we had good waves in Shirahama.
That's why there were many surfers there.
In June we don't have good waves like this, but we will have "All Japan Student Surfing Championship" from June 15th.
So I hope we have big waves like today.
Today it was beautiful day, so I went to the beach with my son to take a walk.
This is "Shirahama Chuo Beach" next to Shirahama Ohama Beach.
After parking our car at the parking lot near the beach we started to walk.
Yes, I was going to a secret cave in Shirahama.......
This morning I went to the beach to take pictures of sunrise in Shirahama.
When I got to the beach there had already been some people.
But it was very silence and I could take many sunrise's picture today.
When I went to Shimoda for shopping with my son, I went to "Shimoda Park" to check the blooming of Hydrangea, "Ajisai" in Japanese.
The flowers has just started to bloom, but we could see some flowers there.
They says that there are 3 million flowers of Hydragea in this park, and we can walk in a lot of flowers with a view of Shimoda town and harbor at the peak of blooming season.
When I was watching TV news today I found the scene of my home town "Miyazaki".
It was more than 35 degrees in Miyazaki city, that's why the TV news informed it.
Here in Shirahama it was also very hot !!
It was seemed like a real summer.
There were some peoples who were swimming in the sea.
When we went to fish shop near Shirahama shirine we went to the beach behind this shrine.
There is a small path to the beach from shirine's parking lot, and we can get to the beach by walking.
At around 2:00 pm it was low tide in Shirahama, so we could walk under the rocks which has a red gate "Torii"....
When I came back to Sakuraya from Shimoda after shopping I took this picture on the way to the hill where Sakuraya located from Route 135.
Today there was no clouds in the sky, so it was very hot and the sun was shining like a summer.
That's why we could see a real blue on the ocean.
It is only 3 or 4 hours from Tokyo to get this ocean !!
Last night Yuuki's grandparents stayed at Sakuraya.
After saying "Good bye" my son, Yuuki said, "Let's go walking !!"
So my wife and I took my son to walk to the mountain behind Sakuraya.
There is a small street in front of Sakuraya and we can go up the hill on this street.....
