2014/11/12 Twilight Time in Shimoda

My daughter has a piano class once a week to be a kindergarten teacher in the future.

I took these pictures through the window of my car when I went to Shimoda to pick her up this early evening.

2014/11/03 Blue Sea and White Sandy Beach

The blue sky and the clear water came back after a long time.

It was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today.

I might be able to swim If I had had no job.....

2014/10/29 Shirahama Beach this morning

There were a lot of clouds in the sky this morning, but it had been sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today.

I took these pictures afte I took my daughter to the school this morning.

2014/10/27 Boat-wrap Sashimi

We got an order of Boat-wrap Sashimi from our customers tonight.

 

2014/10/25 Sunrise in Shirahama

After I took my daughter to the train station it was a good timing to take pictures of sunrise.

I went to the beach and took a lot of pictures of the beautiful scenery in Shirahama this early morning.

2014/10/24 Sunny day came back!

The sun came back after 4 rainy days.

The blue sky make us very happy and excited.

 

2014/10/21 Rain, Flower and Sky

It had been rainy since this morning, but the blue sky appeared after that.

When I walked I found out the rain drop on the flowers.

2014/10/19 Shirahama Beach today

This morning the local community in Shirahama set up the fence to protect the beach from strong north wind.

Of course I took part in this work.

We had a little north wind, but it was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today.

 

2014/10/16 Sun shine, Blue sea and Blue sky

It was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today.

The beach was shining under the sun and the blue sky!

It was very cold yesterday, but it became very hot today.

I'm worrying about my condition beause of sudden air temperature changes.

They are from India and live in Tokyo.

They have stayed at Pension Sakuraya in May last year and it was their second time to stay at Pension Sakuraya.

They went to Mt. Omuro and Jogasaki suspention bridge in Izu-Kogen on the first day, and went to aquarium, Dogashima, Seven water falls after check out.

2014/10/03 Shirahama Beach this morning

When I walked on the seaside this morning I took these pictures.

They had waves by typhoon #18 which is coming to Japan.

They waves will be bigger tomorrow than today.

2014/09/30 Shirahama Beach today

It was sunny here in Shirahama today.

They still had a little good waves which the typhoon left.

There were a lot of surfers on the beach.

2014/09/29 Big waves by typhoon in Shirahama

Typhoon #17 didn't come to Japan directly this time, but this typhoon left big waves here in Shirahama today.

The sea in Shirahama was rough this morning, but they had good waves for surfing this afternoon.

2014/09/27 Thank you for staying.

They came from Switzerland to Japan for the 1st time.

During their stay we had very strong wind, but they went to the beach for 2 days.

They went to Kyoto, Osaka and Nara after Shimoda.

We hope you have a great time in Japan.

2014/09/24 Shirahama Beach this morning

It was sunny before around 6:30 AM, and after that, the sky was coverd with a lot of clouds.

But we sometimes had sun light through the clouds like this this morning.

2014/09/23 Shirahama Beach today

We had a little wind again, but it was beautiful day.

There were some people on the beach then, and some of them were swimming in the water.

2014/09/22 Shirahama Beach today

It was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today, we had a little wind though.

The sea water was clear and very warm, so it was a good condition for swimming.

There were some surfers, but one ot them was very good for surfing like a professinal.

2014/09/21 Thank you for staying

They are from the United States of America and have lived in Tokyo since 2 months ago.

On the 2nd day, as we had very strong north wind they went to Tatado Beach in Shimoda, and they went to the same beach again because of the wind on the 3rd day and went to Onsen in Kawazu town after the beach.

When they had dinner I talked about the career of my wife and me, that we were classical ballet dancers long time ago, and after that, they showed us their children' s picture of ballet before moving to Japan.

We had very good time with you and look forward to meeting you again.

2014/09/21 Shirahama Beach and Tatado Beach in Shimoda today

It was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today, but as we had a little strong north wind in Shirahama I went to Tatado beach which in located in the southern part of Shimoda.

They had no wind there as I expected.

Whey you have strong north wind in Shirahama you should go to Tatado beach.

2014/09/13 Shirahama Beach today

I went to the beach to take pictures at around noon today.

We had a little wind but it was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama.

I really wanted to get into the water today.

 

2014/09/05 Thank you for staying!

They came from France and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 3 nights.

Before coming to Shimoda they crimbed Mt. Fuji, and went to Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Hiroshima.

During their stay we had a little wind, but it had been sunny. They rented surf board and spent a lot of time on the beach.

2014/09/02 Summer Day came back again!

We had been waiting for a summer day like this since about 10 days ago.

We could see the Amagi mountains and Izu Oshima island clearly today.

All of our customers went to the beach after breakffast!

I also really wanted to get into the water today!!

We got these pictures from our customers by e-mail.

They came from France and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 2 nights from August 26th.

During their stay they went to the nearest beach and Suzaki Walking Trail.

He is learning Japanese, so we had very good time with them in Japanese, French and English.

They went to Kyoto and Wakayama after check out.

They came from the United States and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 2 nights.

They came to Japan because the son will get into the University in Tokyo as an overseas student next month.

During their stay it had been almost cloudy, so we couldn't show them the beautiful Shirahama Beach.

They came from Germany and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 6 nights.

During their stay they went to the nearest Beach "Shirahama" for swimming, and went to the museum in Shimoda and Matsuzaki town, and Iwachi Beach by rental car.

It was sunny and there were a lot of clouds floating in the sky today.

2014/08/17 Blue Sky & Blue Sea in Shirahama

When I saw the sea from Pension Sakuraya, it was really beautiful.

So I went to the beach to take pictures.

The sea water is getting clear, and is getting warmer, I guess.

I wanted to get into the water today.

After I finished cleaning up the guest rooms I went to the beach to take pictures.

There were a lot of cars on the roand and a lot of beach umbrellas on the beach.

They had big waves by typhoon in Shimoda, so swimming was prohibited today.
